Unrelated to the VAST majority of this letter, but onesie wednesday is ALWAYS a good idea (& often saves me from the dreaded mid-week slump with a much needed fun outfit cheer up)

YES! It saves me so much mental energy! I even have students and colleagues in on it now, too!

Every single time someone looks at my outfit & goes “oh damn I forgot!”, I love getting to say “Don’t worry about it, there’s another Wednesday next week too”.

Obsessed with these, but I’m 5’8 and just don’t see the length working 😭

Same, I’m 5’10” and these pants would look ridiculous on me 😭

25” inseam truly my arch nemesis.

I admit that the inseam probably wouldn’t work for a taller girl 😭 it just wouldn’t have the same effect from a shape perspective. BUT my friend is 5’6” and they work great on here so here’s to hoping LBS makes a longer inseam!!

Have I been living under a rock?! Never heard of these pants but now I don’t know if I’m going to be able to stop thinking about them!!

Haha truly the shape of them is fabulous but it’s also the seasonal prints they release that are so fun.

This is a fun series, as always! Just adding a little more detail to the size-inclusivity of this brand, I took a look at the size chart, and the range is really quite small - the smallest size waist in these pants is a 24 and the largest size waist is a 28. On either end of the spectrum, many people will be left out of this offering. I appreciate the inclusion of similar items at the end, suggesting that it's less about this specific item and more about what an item like this can provide to a wardrobe.

Agreed their sizing is ridiculous, but I think those waist measurements are for the un stretched elastic. I haven't bought them yet but I determined that my 31" waist would fit a size L.

Yes, Piper, I think you are right! I’m a 28 and the small fit me comfortably despite the measurement of the listed size. They still have work to do but it’s not as stark as it seems (I think).

Nice!

Yes! I find their size-inclusivity appalling, especially for such a popular company!

I have these in the cream color and love them!

I'm curious if they are transparent at all? I'm eyeing these from Le Bon Shoppe (not Arc but so good) in cream and they look thick enough! https://lebonshoppe.com/products/bon-pants-naturel

Not transparent at all! Nice, heavyweight canvas!

Actually the arc pants pretty substantial I highly doubt there would be any transparency in even the cream; I own the arc in red.

I’m trying to resist buying so many multiples of things, but the cream pair for spring / summer sounds dreamy!!!
